Please turn to a local radio station or television station for any announcements regarding school closings due to adverse weather conditions.  Windborne Preschool will follow the Wake County Public School System plans.  If school is cancelled in Wake County, it is cancelled at Windborne. You can also check our website for our Emergency Weather Alert that will show up on the top of the preschool home page.

If Wake County Schools is on a one-hour delay, Windborne will open one hour late (10:30AM).  If Wake County Schools is on a two-hour delay, we will open at 11 am and go until 1:30 pm.  If during the preschool day, Wake County Schools close due to hazardous road conditions, we will close immediately. Please make arrangements for picking up your child.

Make-up days will be held if more than three days are missed during the school year due to adverse weather, but no more than five days will be made up throughout the school year.
